Rabbi Yaakov Bleich, Chief Rabbi for Ukraine, has asked people around the world to pray Psalm 31 in solidarity with his nation under attack. Millions are saying the psalm daily. In Ukraine Jews and Christians are praying it aloud in subway stations, bomb shelters & wherever they are sheltering.
Many are reporting that this psalm, a personal lament in time of trouble, has taken on new meaning for them during the war. The rabbi is asking that if we can’t recite the whole psalm daily, perhaps we can say verse 21 "Blessed be the Lord! for he has shown me the wonders of his love in a besieged city
